McMillan Custom Marathon Plan: Week 19 Day 7

Week 19, Day 7
Phase: Peak
Workout: 40 to 60 minute Easy Run
Purpose: Build Endurance
Expected to be a bit stiff and sore after yesterday’s race, but today’s 40 minute was a great one. Felt really fresh and had a lot of spring in my step. Hard to believe there’s just 5 days to go before the Richmond Marathon on Saturday morning. I must say I’m looking forward to the taper and hope everything comes together as race day approaches. Should be an interesting week….

  1. This time next week it will all be over. Wish I could peek into the future to see what will happen on Saturday!

    I’m also keen to see what the McMillan plan has done for me as I can only think of a couple of workouts that I didn’t complete. I’m sure I’m as ready as I’ll ever be….
