Weekly Round Up

This past week was a planned recovery week in terms of running mileage, but somehow I ended up running 42 miles - the same total as the previous week. I only biked once (can you tell which sport I prefer?), but I did manage to maintain my abs and push ups programs.

Here’s a breakdown of 1/28/08 - 2/3/08:

Monday - 7 mile treadmill run
Tuesday - 13 mile indoor bike ride and final workout of Essential Abs Week 5
Wednesday - 6 mile treadmill run and first workout of 100 Push Ups Week 3
Thursday - Cheetah Fast treadmill workout and first workout of Essential Abs Week 6
Friday - Second workout of 100 Push Ups Week 3
Saturday - East Beach Norfolk Half Marathon (plus warm up/cool down)
Sunday - Progressive 5 mile run, plus second workout of Essential Abs Week 6 and third workout of 100 Push Ups Week 3

This week I’m hoping to get close to 50 miles of running, bike twice and maintain the abs and strength work. I also need to incorporate at least an 18 mile long run, which will probably be on Sunday morning as I’m taking part in a 6k cross country race the day before.

Should be a fun week! Happy Miles,

–Steve
