Seem to be stuck for time again, so I’ll make this short and sweet. Very enjoyable race, felt good throughout and happy with my performance. The last half mile was a bit of a struggle (could still feel Thursday’s Yasso 800s in my legs), but I held on for my second best 5k time of 2008.
Splits: 5:33, 5:28 and 5:43
Finish time: 17:39
Finish position: 3rd overall
Nice to place in the top 3 and as an added bonus I was also on the “Robinson Accounting Team” that placed 1st in the Corporate Team division. Thanks Tim for recruiting me!
