Phase: Marathon
Workout: 15 to 30 minute Warm-Up + Tempo Run: 3 to 5 miles + 15 to 30 minute Cool-down
Purpose: Build Stamina - lactate threshold
Not the best workout I’ve ever had. I don’t think I’d eaten enough during the day and the blustery conditions made it hard to get into any rhythm.
All not lost though as I covered a solid 10 miles in just under an hour and fourteen minutes. Just over 40 miles for the week with a planned 18-20 miler to run tomorrow. I hope First Landing State park will be open after all the rain we’ve had in the past 24 hours.
Time now for a Spaten Oktoberfest. Hope you’re enjoying the weekend….
