I’ve always enjoyed trying out running shoes. Probably a little too much, if I’m being honest. Some runners are perfectly happy with one or two dependable pairs. Me? I seem to have accumulated a small collection, and there’s usually another pair catching my eye.
My days as a Topo Athletic Brand Ambassador came to an end in 2022. Since then, it’s been fun experimenting with shoes from all sorts of manufacturers, from everyday trainers to the carbon-plated models I save for faster running and racing.
This page is a look at the shoes currently getting some mileage in my rotation. They’re not all used for the same purpose, and naturally I have my favourites. I’ll update the collection as shoes come and go, and where I’ve written a full review, I’ll point you towards that too.
One thing I’ve learned over the years: there’s no single perfect running shoe for everyone. What works for me might not work for you. But if you’re curious about what I’m running in at the moment, here’s what’s in the collection.
