Tailwind Nutrition Rebuild Vanilla Bites Recipe

Vanilla Tailwind Nutrition Rebuild

Rebuild is a brand new recovery product from Tailwind Nutrition. As an existing Tailwind Trailblazer I was lucky enough to try out the product last year before its launch last month. Tailwind Nutrition Rebuild is available in 2 great flavors – Chocolate and Vanilla – and is the perfect product to kickstart the recovery process after a tough workout or race.

We start with organic rice protein, and supplement it with amino acids to make that protein complete. Then we add carbohydrates, some healthy fats from coconut milk, and just the right amount of electrolytes. Nothing repairs your muscles more efficiently, restores your energy faster, and makes you feel better sooner. And athletes love the great tasting healthy vegan ingredients.

I’ve used Rebuild successfully after several long training runs and also last week’s Singletrack Maniac 50K at Freedom Park, Williamsburg. Rebuild mixes really well with water, tastes great and sets you up perfectly for a quick and full recovery.

Not only is Rebuild great mixed with water as a recovery drink, but it mixes well with other ingredients to make a tasty snack that can be enjoyed both pre and post workout. I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen with Rebuild Bites, and the results have been pretty delicious. Following on from my recent Chocolate Rebuild recipe, here’s an equally tasty recipe using Vanilla Rebuild.

Servings: 8 to 12 Bites
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mash bananas with a fork, then combine with rolled oats, walnuts, cranberries and chia seeds in a decent-sized bowl. Add contents of Tailwind Rebuild pack to 4 fl oz of water in a blender bottle. Shake well, then add to the banana mix.

Spray a half-size baking sheet with a little non-stick cooking spray. Add 8 to 12 balls of dough to baking sheet using a large spoon or spatula.
