McMillan Custom Marathon Plan: Week 6 Day 1

Week 6, Day 1
Phase: Pre-Marathon
Workout: 35 to 50 minute Easy Run
Purpose: Build Endurance
Ran for just under 50 minutes today. Felt pretty good and averaged 7:30 per mile pace for the 6.5 miles. It was one of those runs where I headed out expecting to do the bare minimum and quit after 35 minutes, but I started enjoying myself and ended up with a solid run under my belt. Fartlek tomorrow – should be a good challenge!
