Another Easy Four Miler

After an evening of grass cutting and numerous other chores it was great to go for an easy four mile run and stretch my legs. I’m currently wearing my Garmin 305 just to track my runs and am not paying any attention to the figures as I run. It is actually very refreshing to just run….

Splits for tonight, according to MotionBased.com: 7:44, 7:34, 7:29 and 7:11. Nice to see I’m still running in my progressively faster mode where each mile is slightly quicker than the preceding one. Not planned, it’s just the way it happens.

Huh… Trying to keep to the unobservant runner idea? That’s cool.

My lawn is in need of cutting - I’m thinking Sunday afternoon after a morning of controlling traffic at a local 5k will be a good time. That, and it is supposed to be the only day it isn’t raining for the next week.

With three days of thunderstorms forecast, last night was my only chance. I still got rained on, but at least it’s done for another week!

Enjoy the 5k and have a good weekend,

It’s great to see you’re recovering well. I’ve been sticking to elliptical training this week except for some treadmill action yesterday (my quads just didn’t feel like heading out into the hills). I’m hoping to get outside for some real running tomorrow. We shall see…
Keep it up!
Jay
