How about this? The following slow motion video was taken at Mile 17 of Monday’s Boston Marathon by two of RunBlogger‘s students. Pretty cool huh?

  1. I think the difference in stride is a function
    of speed. We know generally how fast Ryan was
    travelling, but what about those in the top
    video?

  2. Wow that is awesome! Must be a pretty serious camera. I’d love to see footage like that of myself. Did you learn anything from it?

    It’s interesting that Ryan lands on such a flat foot compared to all of the (still great, by my standards) runners at your pace. Many of them strike with the heel.
