Sunday Run To The Pool

Newton GravityFelt pretty good after yesterday’s half marathon, so decided to run to the rec center for a swim. Wore the Newton Gravity training shoes and couldn’t help but run fast again! I started fairly conservatively with a 7:41 first mile and steadily got faster and faster for the remainder of the run:

7:02 6:54 6:51 6:29 6:18

Most enjoyable, and no aches and pains from the previous day’s race.

The unfortunate news; the pool was closed for a “floatarama” – a mass gathering of inflatables to keep the kids happy on a Sunday afternoon. My own fault for not checking the pool schedule before I left the house, so no complaints. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow for a swim…

How many miles do you expect to get out of your Newton Gravity trainers?

Hi Daniel,

I’m expecting to get 400 miles out of the Gravity, maybe a few more. We’ll see as time goes on…
