Phase: Marathon
Workout: 40 to 50 minute Easy Run
Purpose: Build Endurance
Distance: 5.7 miles
Time: 45:00
Pace: 7:38 per mile
Tomorrow I plan on racing the New Quarter Park 6k in Williamsburg, Virginia. Should be an interesting run over a distance I’ve only raced once on the road before; back in 2004 if I remember correctly. My time on that particular occasion was 22:16 (5:59 per mile pace) so I wonder how close I can get to that in the morning??
Let me see……I’ll be bold and predict a 21:42 - a new 6k PR and fast enough to earn me another Samichlaus beer.





Mmmmm…. Enjoy the Samichlaus. I need a post race ritual like that.
