Week 11, Day 6
Phase: Marathon
Workout: 40 to 60 minute Easy Run
Purpose: Build Endurance
Left it a bit late in the day for this one. I’d hoped to run in the morning to give myself 24 hours recovery before tomorrow’s long run, but things didn’t work out and it was late afternoon before I was heading out the door.

I planned on doing the minimum 40 minutes, but felt good after a couple of miles and decided to make it up to the full hour. Pace was good too and I managed to cover just over 8 miles before the 60 minutes was up.

Distance: 8 miles
Time: 59:00
Pace: 7:20 per mile

The plan calls for 18-22 miles tomorrow. I’ll aim for 20, but will be happy with a solid 18. Depends a lot on the weather to be honest. We’ll see…
