McMillan Custom Marathon Plan: Week 10 Day 3

Week 10, Day 3
Phase: Marathon
Workout: 60 to 70 minute Easy Run
Purpose: Build Endurance
Garmin not charged, so just headed out for an easy run with no real thoughts on pace or splits. Needed to run “easy” for 60 to 70 minutes which made for a 33 minute out and back. Temperature was right around 90°F with the humidity at about 40% - not too bad, but hot enough to get a good sweat going.

Actually my legs are still a little heavy after Sunday’s race and I’m sure my body is still in recovery mode too - must have taken more out of me than I first thought.

Tomorrow calls for a tempo run followed by two more easy runs on Thursday/Friday. I may just switch the tempo run with a 10k race I’m running on Saturday - don’t think I’m ready for tempo running tomorrow. Actually, depending on what Hanna does in the next few days, there may not be a race at all! We’ll see…
