Last time I checked there more than five of you reading this blog (must have been a good traffic day!), so the best thing for me to do is hold a competition to determine the five lucky winners. Don’t worry, the rules are simple and everyone will stand a good chance.

All you have to do is visit TypoBuddy, enter a search term and discover the worst eBay misspelling you can find. An example would be Addidas instead of Adidas. Get the idea?

To enter the competition just leave a comment with your misspelling. Linking to the actual auction may help. TypoBuddy will choose their favorite misspelling, so make sure you do a few searches and leave your email so they can contact you if you win.

All joking aside, TypoBuddy is a great way to find bargains on eBay or your local Craigslist. Typically nobody finds these auctions that are misspelled, so their loss is your gain.

All good fun anyway, and it would nice to pick up a few dollars to spend at eBay wouldn’t it?

I’ve decided to wear my trusty Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS during the race so I can review the stats later in the day, but I’m going to blank off the display so I’m not influenced by pace, distance or speed. Does that sound fair? Maybe Tim or Charlie can verify this at the start line?

Sounds like the race is going to be even more popular than last year with over 350 pre-registered at last count and many more sure to show up on race day. It’s bound to be a lot of fun and a great way to start the New Year – can’t wait! May the best prediction win….
