New PR at the Inverclyde Leisure 5k

Finally managed to break 17 minutes in the 5k, but it took a vacation to Scotland and some cooler weather to do it.

Official time — 16:50
Official place — 3rd overall

Can’t believe I slashed 19 seconds from my previous best time set at the end of 2008. Life is good!

Wow, an amazing time. Loved reading about the free Burritos for a year too – now that’s a reason to run fast!

Have you heard of parkrun in the UK? Next time you are in the UK you need to try and check it out. Its brillaint. Free 5km runs every week in 54 (currently but growing) parks around the UK.
