And The Winner Is…
The winner of my $15 Road ID competition is Lisa, with her inspired prediction of 18:40:30. Many congratulations Lisa! My official chip time for this morning’s Hair of the Dog 5k was 18:39:55 (rounded up to 18:40), and can be verified here at the published race results. Lisa’s prediction was just one second away from being perfect.
Bad luck to the other 7 entrants, especially Corey and Ernie who were just 3 and 5 seconds off respectively. Maybe next time eh?
I’ve already contacted Lisa with the good news, so the $15 Road ID certificate will soon be on it’s way.
I plan on posting a brief race report once I’ve uploaded my Garmin GPS data, but for now, thanks to all who entered my first competition and made me work hard right up to the finish line.
